Thank You Leon for those wonderful thoughts and great instruction.  It is up to the individual performer to find what works best for them and take some of the critiques with a grain of salt.  For me, I like recordings of my practice sessions as well as performances to critique myself.  I am usually harsher on myself than anyone else can be in breaking apart finger movement, covering the tone holes properly and developing altissimo fingerings that work for me.
